Sadia Husain


Sadia Hussain is a Civil Engineer turned development expert. She has been working in Pakistan for the past 18 years. Her expertise is research, trainings, evaluations and policy making in the field of Education, Child Rights and Child Protection. Sadia has headed well recognized organizations like SPARC. She has been the Head of Child Protection, Child rights and Education programs at Save the Children for almost three years. Sadia holds Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of New England. She has also completed several certificates courses from University of Missouri Kansas City in Early Childhood Education and Development. Currently, she is working as Technical Advisor for two international organizations.

Huma Binte Nayyer

Secretary General

Huma Binte Nayyer is an anthropologist and had been involved in social development work for 19 years with different INGOs, NGOs, Government Organizations and consultants; CIDA, NIPS, SAHIL, LEAD Pakistan, NIPS, SSDO, OXFAM Pakistan & SEDCO Associates in the field Social development, Project Implementation & coordination, Need Assessments, Researches & Evaluations, Qualitative & Quantitative Data Analysis, Monitoring and Proposal Writing. As a Senior Trainer conducted a number of trainings on Health, Child Rights, Child protection issues, Child Sexual Abuse, HIV/AIDS and Life Skills, how to deal with sensitive issues, Gender Mainstreaming through Enhanced Participation of Women in Public Support Forums (PSFs), Leadership Training on Gender Issues related to Volunteerism, Integrating Union Council Action Plans into Tehsil level, Psychological impact of violence with different International and National NGOs. She is an alumnus of Quaid-e-Azam University, completed her MPhil in Anthropology. She acquired diverse skills set and had been engaged in managing and coordinating different research related projects by initiating project design, preparing research tools both qualitative and quantitative, Monitoring and evaluation of the research projects, conducting IDIs & FGDs, Transcription writing, Data analysis in NVIVO, SPSS, STATA and excel, project proposal writing, writing reports of the projects as per client satisfaction and conducting trainings as per the need. She has been involved in developing Monitoring and Evaluation manuals for the development sector. She is also a part of 4 online publications.


Myra Azam

Member BOD

Myra Azam is the secretary. She brings a wealth of experience, having been awarded by Excellence Award, leadership award, award for highlighting acid crimes and need for comprehensive legislation and White Ribbon Media Award on behalf of different organizations and Ministries in the year 2012 and in 2010. She has been reporting on gender issues, extremism, youth and children for seven years with the pen name Myra Imran. Her focus has mainly been on human rights– areas that had not been given much attention earlier. In addition to working on challenges faced by vulnerable groups, she has always tried to highlight the extraordinary achievements of the ordinary and to make public realize their responsibilities.


Umer Rasheed Chaudhry

Secretary Finance

Mr. Umer Rasheed Chaudhry is an Advocate High Court and has around 10 years of vast experience in all forms of dispute resolution. He is particularly recognized for his successful advocacy before the Lower Court and the High Court in a number of far-reaching cases. Adv. Umer Rasheed Chaudhry deals in all kind of Civil & Corporate contentious and non-contentious matters pertaining to real estate properties matters, Rent cases, civil Suits, family & matrimonial matters, Banking, intellectual property, Excise & civil services matters, etc. All company matters including incorporation and liquidation, registration and perfection of charges, mergers and acquisitions.


Saadia Mumtaz

A dynamic, responsible, committed, and resourceful development professional offering more than 20 years of experience in law, gender and governance. Skillful in drafting laws/bills/ rules and carrying legislative and policy research. Well experienced in program development management, implementation, reporting and monitoring & evaluation. Have good analytical skills, possess the ability and experience to write reports and analyze laws. Have knowledge and work experience in law, gender, diversity, and inclusion. Proven track record of designing and executing trainings for stakeholders including parliamentarians, lawyers, media, police, community groups, government officers, and elected representatives of local government.


Arshad Saleem Awan

Member BOD

Arshad Saleem Awan, holds the position of Director SSDO for two years started from May, 2017. He has professional experience of finance, accounts and audit (both external & internal). He holds extensive exposure and expertise of manufacturing, NGO’s (Development sector), financial, telecom, and service sector organizations. Grasps proficiency in IFRS, IAS, corporate and taxation laws. Arshad’s functional area also include Management/Cost accounting and financial statement evaluation with ratio analysis, budgeting, feasibilities studies using capital budgeting tools and internal controls design and evaluation.


Raja Nadeem Sadiq

Raja Nadeem Sadiq, Associate Professor of English has 30 years of experience. He has considerable experience in teaching young students in universities and schools of both genders. He is an enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated English teacher.
